John,
Yes I'll be going, been there a couple of times, usually a good autojumble & plenty of BL cars to see. Not usually many TR's though so would be good if a few turned up. Won't be in my TR8 as it's still not on the road. Going up from Kent in my brothers 1962 Morris J2 van. That's an experience, no seat belts, crash gearbox, cross ply tyres etc, I'll be checking my life insurance is up to date!! [:D]

John

As long as I am not booked for anything else by SWMBO, I'll try and make it.

I'm hoping to go along as its only 5 minutes away. Went along last year but didn't take the car.

Andy

Don't knock the Morris J2....

I seem to recall it beating me to the QEII bridge last year by driving along in the slow lane!

Great time today at BL / BMC day @ Ferry Meadows, Peterborough.

It was like reliving all of the cars my Dad and Grandad had and even worryingly myself, I must be getting old.

Simon - A Talbot Solara!

It must be years since I last saw one of those.
Mine was Dark Green - with a near-white or very light grey interior.

Quite impractical with a young family!

Thanks for the memory!

Yep nice day today quite chuffed that I got a set of stainless braided fuel hoses for the car.

Had a strange sensation of wandering on the car during the run back so took it steady, found that one of the bolts on the steering arm where it bolts to the strut had worked loose [:(] sorted now though.

Good show with a half decent autojumble too.

I know Soloras are rare as hens teeth and this was a tidy Series 2.

I think I read in Prac Classics that there is less than 100 on the road.
