I would like to know if you know royal automobile club?
I have to find a TR7 v8 who would be a preseries of 1975?
The serial number and ACL16
How can we verified if it is true!

That would be a very, very early US spec car, don't know if it still survives.

Unless someone has information for you, I don't know how you could trace the car. The Royal Automobile Club would not be able to help you, they do not hold such records.

Heritage have records on all, or at least most by far, TR7's and TR8's ever produced...

X3, heritage would be the best source for info ......

Paul (tr8) also has a very good list of early cars (along with most of the tr8's)

I know of a few early cars, #266, 512 and a couple others. Nothing as low as 16.

ACL47 was built in September 1974 and is owned by aTR Drivers club member in Bradford, I would think that ACL 16 was built at the same time.

Is one truth tr7 V8 taken(brought) out of the production to make a model of competition?

Hi Syol.. I'm not sure that people here are understanding the question. You want to know if this is a genuine factory V8 or not?

I think the only way to be sure is for an expert to examine the car. As this may be impossible, can you take photographs and post them. Also the engine number will help.
