ACE CAFE TUESDAY 11th AUG

Postby john 215 » 18 Jul 2009 21:08

Hi
Every 2nd Tuesday of the month there is a classic car meet at the Ace in London village, every 2nd Tuesday Zoe turns up in her TR7 and is the only one there [:(] surrounded by other classics but still on her own [:(] (apart from her other half Steve in his Jenson) How about meeting down there [?] Could be the last day light evening meet, autumn is on its way, on the Triumph Saturday meet there last month was more TR7/8 than any other car [:D] HOW ABOUT IT [?] [?]
Cheers John

yes John , there i am all on my own every month , not another tr7/8 in sight , taking all the jokes about them all by myself !!! i do think we should try to out number certain other 1970's cars starting with the letter 'J' !! you really need to get there by 5pm if we want to get pride of place at Ace !!! right accross the front so please try and come to the August meet , zoe

Hi

I'm new on here, bought a TR7 a couple of months ago and live only 15 mins away from the Ace so will make an effort to come to the next meet (if I can persuade my other half!)

Thanks for the welcome everyone, have been away for the week so couldn't reply earlier.

I will make a real effort to come to the next meet and make sure I'm there early to park at the doors (and will tell the other half that his dinner is at the Ace so he better come!).

Hi,

I should be able to leave work early and meet up at The Ace (M25 permitting)[:(!].

John215's photo of my 7V8 from last month's gathering is underneath. I recall the sun shining that morning. Let's hope it comes out again.....[:)]
