WTSCC Breakfast Run

Postby PeterTR7V8 » 28 Jul 2009 04:07

The Wellington Triumph Sports Car Club had its annual Breakfast Run last Sunday. It was a bit of a contrast to the pictures of lines & lines of Triumphs some of yous guys post. Of the 8 cars that participated, 5 were Triumphs & 3 of those had roll cages. The other 2 were TR7s & mine is a regularly competing car so clearly our club is mostly focussed on racing & not so much on socialising. This may be a scewed observation based on this particular event cos it is easy to decide not to attend an event that starts at 8.00AM on a Sunday in the middle of winter. It was a nice day for a drive round the bays though, and breakfast was very good.

Personally I was pleased that wedges out numbered any other models. There would've been a 3rd 7 but the owner had to work.

Never say die. At least not while you're still breathing.
