Following on from the earlier posts about discrimination against TR7's I found Club Triumph to be a very broad church with very few hangups about which Triumph you drive, be it an original Standard or the final Triumph (Honda) Acclaim. Not a lot of rivet counters, but lots of people who enjoy driving & using their cars :) Am looking forward to doing their 10 Countries Rally over 5 days September along with 50 or so other triumphs including a handful of 7's & 8's

PS I need a co-driver as both my original and reserve have had to pull out due to work problems - one has to much and one may be redundant, so am looking for a new co-driver.

Howard,
I agree about Club Triumph. Had a TR7 for years now, originally joined the TRDC till I learned about the cars but there event calendar was terrible, the National at Billing was it!
Wen't on my own to loads of events via Greenwoods & Transtar events.
Bought a stag 5 years ago so joined the SOC who's event calendar was full and varied.
Tried theTSSC club for both cars but camping events were not for me.
Wen't to Kimbolton Sporting Bears show on my own ( sold the stag by now ) not in any club, and saw 6 yes 6 TR7's in a row! It was the local Club Triumph display, so I joined them.
Been on a few events, and quite happy with the club, so will stick with them.

What's the ETA for meeting up at the ACE?

If early I'll treat myself to a greasy breakfast.

Steve,
I've supported the Vulcan as well, fantastic aircraft!
Must live under the flight path for the Bruntingthorpe "wedge"
Because we had a family party in the garden one Sunday and the Vulcan flew LOW & SLOW over the house! After it flew over I turned to the guests and said "You won't believe how many phone calls it took to arrange that!" [:D]
