Le Mans 2009

Postby lebochet9 » 23 Mar 2009 19:26

I have decided to go to the 24h at Le Mans this year. Anyone else thinking about going??

The second part of the question is does anyone have any reccomendations for which Grandstands give the best views and which campsites are best. I'm considering going for one of the infield sites to have good access to the whole circuit.

Hi, Lebochet, we're going in the V8.

We like to go infield as it means you can still drive off to Arnage during the early hours to watch the sun come up at the end of the circuit, awesome sight.

We're camping at Houx Non Nombre, the best sites are Houx Nombre, Houx Non Nombre and Karting Nord. Houx Annexe is very rowdy and a bit of a free for all whereas Beausejour is too far from the circuit in my opinion.

We're going down in convoy with some mates, one in a Triumph 2000 saloon and another in a TR6. See you there perhaps!
