Rear spoilers

Here’s where to discuss anything specific about your standard(ish) car or something that applies to the model in general.

The Rubber Spoiler came off of a Acclaim the Peugeot 405 is also a straight bolt on and you can chose to have the either one with a third brake light or without.

When we bought my step-son's project car this summer it came with a rear spoiler from a Sunfire I believe. We have set it on the back lid and it actually likes okay and it may actually make it onto the car.

Troy-
I am in the process of getting a mold made or getting one off of the original cars. It was a modified BMW 3.0 CSL race car roof spoiler. In the FIA homologation papers for the TR8 British Leyland gave it a part number STR 379. In the picture for the FIA paperwork for the spoiler it was taken at Group 44's shop and you can see it was stuck on a prototype TR8 coupe with one of the Jaguar XJS Trans Am car in the back ground!

Paul, in the dark the spoiler looks good however, what does it look in the daylight??? Also, what did the spolier come from and is it available in the colonies?? How did you do the lettering? I looks outstanding!!

Cliff,i dont have a clue about this spoiler,i just happened upon it at
Robsport. They said it'd fit if i chopped down the 'legs'to fit the
wedge's bootlid. They wer unsure of its make either.£25,cheap,and not
too nasty!
This is the best 'daylight'shot i have at the mo'-
Image
i'll get better ones at the weekend. The decals were made to my design
by Eric of Dash Dynamics who makes the carbon dash kit i put in the v8
He said its a one off as it was too difficult to 'pull'the resin he
uses to the font i had designed.Difficult to see,but decals are raised
and appear etched into bodywork till you get close.

Paul, the spoiler looks <b>great</b> in the daylight, but what are the little red gizmos on the bumper? Unless they are required for a MOT they don't help much IMHO. The Wedges rearend is still a <font color="red"><b>"10"</b></font id="red">!

Cliff,

In England you are required to have rear fog lights.

Have fun, drive fast & safe, be kewl,

Glad the spoiler gets your approval,Cliff. Those fog lights are better
looking than the original 'after thought' ones that hang below the
rear bumper on standard sevens,IMHO! I find that drivers over here
tend to put these fogs on in the rain, forget about them, and leave 'em
on to blind the driver behind them - even though a red illuminated
switch must be fitted to remind 'em they are on!

My v8,Ian F's stylish fogs in the middle and Rob's standard fit on the right.

See ya. Paul
