On the common,Saffron Walden October 5th (Sunday) there is a classic
car show from 10 am till 4pm.
"If you love what you drive,come and show it off!
Certificates for best in show,best vintage,
veteran,classic,performance,motor bike and
under 25 owner.Other attractions,refreshments,
auto jumble pitches"

Just to let you know that this was a washout! About 30 cars came and
went in the 3 hours i was there.Mine was the only wedge there and
although it was hissing down the green monster got alot of admirers.
If nothing else was gained from being there,the mohair hood really
excelled at keeping the interior dry,and,boy did it chuck it down!
I spent most of the time in a tent drinking tea and sampling home
made cake with the local W.I. and 'Community' plastic police who asked
me not to wheel spin on the green as i made my escape-spoil sports!

Hi Paul,
Always a shame when events are spoiled by the great british weather [:(] Was looking forward to going if for no other reason than driving through the tunnels on the A505 on the Baldock by-pass [8D].
I guess, next 'big meet' will be up the NEC -
