Slowest Link?

Postby dmachura » 21 Feb 2008 03:13

Whats everyone's opinion on what slows down the TR7, is it the 2.0l motor, the 5 speed tranny or perhaps the gearing of the rear end?

What can be done to increase the quickness off the line?

I believe the 8 valve head and low compression pistons on US spec cars reduces performance...[xx(]

Hi
On the excellent 'Bullit' DVD it says on there that the acceleration on the early 4 speed cars was better due to different gear ratios,HOWEVER would'nt rec fitting these stay with your 5 speeder and poss tune, exhaust, filters, 4.6 V8 [;)] [:D] ect
Cheers john.
