2008.. The Year of the TR8?

Postby Steve-LPS-Thomas » 20 Dec 2007 17:41

Feb issue of "Classics Monthly" now on sale with a buying guide to TR7's. Few gaffs but generally a good article (no such thing as bad publicity). Virtually no mention of the TR8 though, bit odd when so many cars now run on V8 power.

Interestingly the main car in the advert, VAL538 belongs to the editor of TR Drivers Mag, Val McMillan. My understanding is she had no idea about the article nor was she even mentioned in it.

Shame they couldn't put more than a couple of words together about the V8 variant though.

Not a bad article though.

The Yellow "Victory" they used was mine but I sold it about a year ago. They did ask if they could use a picture of it off my website. I said sure but I am not the owner anymore...
