Hi,

Talk about 4 seasons in one day !! started sunny [:D] then cloud [:)], then drizzle [V] then rain then down pour complete with thunder and lighting [:(] !!!

Good turn out despite this, and great to meet up with Jon, Andy, Roy, Tony, Wayne, Dave etc. Shame the weather didnt hold but didnt spoil the day totaly.

Great pictures John.

It was great to see your lovely early car properly,
worth the trip for me on it's own. Enjoyed the chat with you and John (sprint) Wood and Tony, and meeting Andy and Dave from kent.
Didn't get to see all the cars at the show (to much talking) but that Jubilee Marina was just breathtaking (I could be turned by such a car) must resist. [:p]

My journey home was entertaining. The rain was heavy leaving Peterborough but eased after around 20 mins. Got to Leicester and there was a terrific storm, headlights on, blower at number three, and wipers on top speed. The poor TR was getting flooded by all the spray and there was a couple of times when the fan belt squealed and the battery light flickered, the rain was that bad it got in under the sunroof on the M69. Well it is a British Summer. Good to meet you all again and thanks Roy for my 77 alloy.

Good to see you all [:)]

Sounds like you had an eventful journey home, John. Roy & I left not long after you, the rain was coming down harder & harder, but unlike your journey it got drier as we headed south.

Great turn out of BL cars (& a few other makes - what were they doing there?[:)]) - thanks to our other John for the pics.

So, has anyone actually managed to go to a show this year when it has not rained?

Hi,

Once south of Peterbough lovely sunshine, typical !!

Got home vacuumed out the car out as half a grass field in the footwell only to be stopped by yet another thunder storm !!

Thanks for the comments and see some of you gents at Malvern next weekend and we will do it all again, hopefully without the rain !

Cheers John

Apart from the weather, a great day out. Strangly pleased my car was broken, as it stayed at home all clean and shiney in the garage! [:D]
Nice to meet and have a chat with John W, Roy & Tony. Your cars are fantastic. Thanks John for the seat runner, hopefully another rattle eliminated. [:)]
Looking forward to next year in my own car.
