If you are ever up in the Glasgow area pop into this Museum which is the new Transport Museum on the river Clyde.

Plenty of model ships on a great display upstairs

Also street scenes set up in the 1895 - 1930, 1930 - 1960 & 1960 - 1980 where the shops are set up for that time period.

Outside a Tall Ship to explore too.

Know what you mean but in reality it's not a car museum, but the old one up at the Kelvin Hall was better - space is the problem - the exhibits do cover Scottish Transport which didn't really revolve around cars.
Not many places give free entry these days especially if you have 2 kids - me, I went myself when up for a job interview.

Got the job but won't be relocating to Glasgow - originally from Edinburgh & spent 5 years in Glasgow so know the place well.

So unfortunately another TR7 won't be coming up to join you [V]
