fixed-head,

That good news will you be bringing the list to the Manchester show on sunday, I haven't given you my form yet, plus two for chris's cars for saturday only.

Getting my UK TR8 back in running order ready for the MOT currently, doesn't look like I will need to get the Genuine TR7 Sprint on the road now.

Looking good and hope this can be annual event

Simon,

That good news and if you have never been to Tatton before, I am sure you will be impressed with the cars and auto jumble.

Don't worry StaninGrimsby, another 4 TR7V8's entered this week!! It's going to be a great display! I'm ordering a banner for the display to say:- TRIUMPH TR7 & TR8 NORTHERN NATIONAL WEEKEND. unless anyone can think of something better?? Ian White, the TR Register clubs TR7/8 official registrar, is trying to get up for the weekend to do a report and photo's for the clubs magazine. Fingers crossed for good weather, just one thing concerns me though, not got any Sprints yet? Unless Jim's got any in mind? Jim has good contacts in the TR Drivers Club! Anyway, still loads of time yet, more than 30 entries now... dare we start hoping for 40!!! Cheers! (a very excited!!!!) fixed-head

Great news for The TR7 & TR8 Weekend at Tatton Park in June. The editor of the FREE Classic Motor Monthly newspaper (John Hodson) has included a great (Almost 1/2 page 'splash') in his May 2011 issue inviting (hopefully) even more TR7/8's to the event!! These papers are given out to enthusiasts at classic events all over the UK! Also another TR7 entry arrived yesterday, a 1978 fhc. Cheers fixed-head.

To StanInGrimsby,
Hello, Entries now at 18 for Saturday & 35 for Sunday. There are a few more on 'multi make' club list's, I will ask if they wish to join us, but can't force them too. If they wish to be with their own club we won't get them. Still, we should be very happy with the numbers attending, I honestly never thought we'd attract so many TR7/8's and remember many of them are doing 3 & 4 hour drives to join us!!! This really is going to be a major "FLYING WEDGE EVENT", I just can't wait! Not heard from Jim for a while, I guess he is preparing one of his cars for the big day!
Cheers fixed-head.
P.S. Hows your white DHC getting on? will you make it to Tatton Park?!!! took mine for a quick blast tonight, still love it!!!!!!!
