Stan - we're planning to go for both days. Not sure if we'll head up on Friday evening or first thing Saturday - but will be camping and travelling back on Sunday evening.

TR Register always enter about 40 tr's for their stand! and tssc usually have some in their 30+ display, this year tssc club shop is also coming, a lot to look forward to!! Cheers fixed-head (stuart).

Chris, That's great news! Your collection will make a massive impact on the display, don't forget to send your entry forms in, so I can make sure you get all the correct passes you'll need. Tatton Park are very strict on passes and vehicle details etc. Thankyou for your support!fixed-head Stuart.

fixed-head,

If chris his bringing is collection of TR7's he will have to get the old leyland lorry and car transportor out, but it would look very impressive 6/7 TR7's on the back of a car transporter.

This would take some careful parking.

Hello tr7jim, Yes Chris's lorry would look very impressive, loaded with TR7's, but we'd never get it to the display, let-alone on the stand, plus 'soft ground' issues with heavy vehicles!. But there is an ideal area of hard-standing across the car park where the cars could be unloaded and driven onto the show-site, It depends on when Chris plans to arrive, as you know from 8;00am the cars start to trickle in and by 9:30 things start to get very busy until last entry at 11:00am. By then the show ground is 'packed' with public and we are not allowed any vehicle movement! (county council health & safety!!) All exhibitors should aim to arrive no later than 10:00am, the earlier the better!! We have well over 2000 classics to park, they all have little site-plans but it's not easy! and it's not nice if classics over-heat in the queue! I suppose thats why so many exhibitors camp-over, they get up early to watch the cars arriving. Anyway, really looking forward to seeing Chris's collection on display!! and Jim and I will do our very best to ensure everyone has a great weekend!! Cheers for now! fixed-head

Fixedhead,

Chris is looking at getting two cars over max, but It would look cool to see one day a lorry load of TR7/8 on a transporter with a Leyland lorry pulling them.

Hopefully one of the two cars will be the first price Coca Cola car.

Jim

Sorry but Jim is right it will be the Coca Cola car and one other (probably the Sprint)as there is only myself and Robert to drive. Would like to be there for the full weekend but June, especially Sundays are a busy time for our business.

Hello, Another TR7 entered today, really nice 'inca yellow' dhc, with nicely personalised original wheels. It seems the cars are willing to travel great distances to join us! I'll have to bring my best camera!! Cheers fixed-head.

The TSSC put a nice bit about the event in their magazine 'The Courier' this month too!

Really looking forward to this - do we know how many cars the promoters have for the event?

That's me with the Inca drophead.

I've even been out and bought a tent especally for the occasion.
Talked my other half into camping for the weekend.
Which also means I shoud be able to stay over at Biling this year for the first time.

Happy days

Roy
