Hello TR7-8 fans, Interest in the Tatton Park event is really 'hotting-up', I'm getting non club people with really nice cars making contact, one chap said he had never had his car at a show!! ever!! looks like we may see some cars we have never seen before! Entries so far; Saturday 7, Sunday 16, plus Jim is collecting entries too! early days yet, from experience with other 'special features' we've had people enter much closer to the actual event, so I think (and hope!!), we'll get many more!! Cheers for now. fixed-head.

Hmmm, long way from Dorset but sounds like a great event. Seriously looking at coming up for the weekend, hopefully a convoy of two with Roy [:)]

Hello TR tony, I do hope you can come, if camping over you can arrive anytime after 12 noon on Friday and people travelling from a long distance can stay over til Monday lunch, as long as they request the extra night on their form (no extra charge) still only £10 per couple! pay on arrival, OVER 2000 classic cars to see with 65% of the cars different on the Sunday!! we have to share them across the two days!! 250 Autojumble / trade stands, you'll need two days to see all the show!! loads of club people camp over, if you come, I bet we'll see you every year!!!! Regards fixed-head

Two more entries in today for TR7 & TR8 weekend at Tatton Park, 1 D.H.C. in red with the most mint engine bay I've ever seen!! and 1 F.H.C. in java green, another really nice example with 'period' wolf race wheels, like on the Coca Cola TR7's. Looks like we'll need lots of trophies!! tr7Jim is going to be very busy on the weekend parking all these lovely motors!! Cheers fixed-head. P.S. do'nt forget, its FREE to enter! entry forms at www.cheshireautopromotions.co.uk

fixed-head,

Looks like we'll need lots of trophies!! tr7Jim is going to be very busy on the weekend parking all these lovely motors!!

I am glad the joint idea as taken off and to date I have only a few for the club list, due to liking the idea that the indivual owners send the application in and then gets the event tickets sent to their home address. This save me sending on the tickets or meeting people at the gate etc.

Just looking forward to the event and hope a even turnout for each day is acheived.

Stan don't worry, I've got your entry, you WILL get a pass for your dhc. I hope tr7Jim remembers, when he can't move for TR7's & 8's, at Tatton, it was mainly his idea!!! It'll be great if it just ends-up an annual TR7 event that everyone wants to go to!! fingers crossed! Cheers fixed-head.

SimonO, Thanks for helping Jim & I to promote the TR7 & TR8 weekend, the tssc is a big club and locally have already said we can 'pinch' their TR7's for our display, if we now get some from other regions of the tssc, that will be brilliant!! Thanks again!!! fixed-head.

The more I hear about this event the better it sounds.
But as Tony said it's a long old way from Hampshire and Dorset.
Will anyone else from way down south be going along ?

My girlfriends not much of a camper but very good with the camera being a freelance photographer, so are there any decent places to stay near by ?

Tony are you going ?

Roy
