It lives!!

Postby samco » 23 Feb 2008 23:44

Today whilst waiting for paint to dry between coats I connected the choke cable to my weber 500 carb and sat on the floor on the drivers side pulling it in and out with a great sence of satisfaction. Then I realised that it is the first actually working item on the car since I began restoring it over two years ago.

Old chinese proverb. "Even a journey of a thousand miles miles begins with a single step"

If it doesn't fit you obviously need a bigger hammer.
