Hi, nice touch having the car lift in your back garden. Can’t imagine that working in our UK climate!

I’m jealous of the 2 post lift, but it was either dig down the garage floor by several feet or sacrifice the bedroom above it.

I haven't had any issues at all with the electrics, the motor is cover with a home made steel box and the waterproof switch is mounted on the fence. I am just a little devious about the extension lead sitting there when it rains and I am using the 2 poster. But it is a good excuse to unplug and go inside for a coffee
