We would need access permission to view.
If it's not broke don't fix it.

Thanks Howard, your diagrams are so much better than trying to work from the originals.

I do sometimes use extracts and refer people to them quoting you as the originator, hope that is ok?

In response to the comment about passing on copies of the drawings, if you look at the box on the bottom right of my drawings, you will see that the TR7 wiring diagrams are issued under a GPL (General Public Use) licence which authorises everyone to use them as follows :-

"Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1. 3 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation"

So please feel free to pass copies on to anyone else and if they can use CAD I can also provide the files in editable AutoCAD format so they can be modifed.

My rational for using this licence is the same as the one used for the Linux operating system which is also distributed under a similar GPL licence. It means that the user has total control of their computer and all the GPL licenced programs that run on it which cannot be revoked, changed or cancelled by Apple/Microsoft or anyone else. Coming back to cars, auto manufacturers supplying cars with propriety software which prevents the "owner" from repairing or modifying them without their permission, so you no longer really own the vehicle you purchased.....

I have updated my 81 TR7 DHC electrical drawings in a number of areas to assist with fault finding and repairs:-

Fuel tank level sensor details & resistance information added
Low fuel delay unit information added
Temperature sensor resistance information added
Fan thermal protection details added
Details of electronic circuits now include coolant level sensor, tachometer and pektron flasher unit
Colour coded fuse board layout added
Additional bulb data added for instrument/panel bulbs
Indicator / Hazard flasher references corrected.

A copy can be downloaded from the following link:-

I am issuing theses drawings under an open source license so they can be freely copied and modified subject to any copies or modified versions being issued under the same conditions.

AutoCAD compatible .dwg files are also available on request

Can anyone use my original CAD version of these drawings? I can post them as well.

Cheers

DWG or DXF format might be useful to me as some wires tend to have slightly different colour codes
