Part No.: 159003A Slipper Pad

I am looking to see where the Slipper Pad (Part No.: 159003A) goes in the clutch system.

I was hoping to see it in the Rimmer site, but cannot. Does anyone have a diagram or picture of where it sits?

I thought the slipper pads were the bits which go onto the pins each side of the clutch fork to connect into the thrust bearing holder? I can't see them on the Rimmers diagrams either.

The slipper pads - you need two of them - fit onto the two round pins of the clutch fork. They look like a square block about 1/2" across with a round hole. The release bearing then engages onto the slipper pads which is quite fiddly to do I find!

Thanks guys. So if I am seeing this correct they go on the shafts between the two ends of the fork?

Also by just changing the slave cylinder I would not of seen these, knocked them off or anything?

No, if you only remove the slave you will not see them as they are on the release bearing end of the clutch fork around the first motion shaft out of the gearbox. The slippers go into the groove on the release bearing carrier and swivel as the fork moves it forward to operate the clutch.

That is good to hear. At least I can cross that off the list of things that may be causing the kangaroo juice in low gear and moving slow. I think I have found the issue now as the back passenger when seems to have a leak and the drum is currently stuck on. This is my current job trying to get that off.
