TR7 Convertible XKV 851X needs saving. North Derbyshire.

Good afternoon. I'm a newbie and I want to bring the following car to your attention. (Sorry if you are aware of it already). I've noticed a TR7 convertible XKV 851X abandoned between Sheepbridge and Unstone (North Derbyshire).
The car was on a used car sales plot and has now been put on the hard-standing area in front of the plot.
I just hope somebody can save it before a scrap man gets it.

It seems a lot of work was done to this in April / May 2008 to achieve a MOT. Perhaps the repairs didn't last long? Not currently SORNED as far as I can establish. supercass

Do we actuall know if its for sale?

I think the dealer may allow somebody to 'take it away for minimal cost. It's currently not on a car pitch but in front of it, so my concern is that somebody could come along in the night and just take it for scrap.

I've found out that the car belongs to an old guy called Peter and is for sale. It's been standing a few years and he said anybody that is interested to make him an offer.
