charity bring and buy auto-jumble

Postby gaz » 15 Jul 2014 12:35

******* I FELT I NECESSARY START A NEW THREAD ON THIS SUBJECT AS SOMEBODY ELSES THREAD SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN HIJACKED BY IT.... SORRY *******

As you may have seen in other threads I with the help from others are organising a Charity Bring And Buy Auto Jumble which will be held at the TRDC National Weekend in just 4 days time Parkinson's UK to raise awareness and to show our support for those that need it.
For those that cant make it to the National you can still show your support by donating through this Virgin Money page I Have set up.

http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/autojumblebilling

Thanks..........

I have to to say the response to this has been fantastic, what started out as the idea of setting a few odds and sods down on a sheet on the floor and selling them for charity, has blown up into a full blown Auto-Jumble, that just shows how as a club were are able rally around and show our support where its needed..............Thanks

Now don't forget all your pledged stock and bring some pennies to buy it all back [;)]

Hi - I'm looking for a Heat-shield \ Intake duct, in good Ready-To-Fit condition if possible. Looks like a deformed vacuum cleaner head, it's the bit that everyone converting to K&N pancakes throws away!

I'll be at Billing, give to Garry for the Bring-&-Buy!

I've had a tot up and so far there is £409.62 in cash & there will be £180 plus gift aid = £225
Total = £634.62......
I say so far, there are still some parts to sell on so watch this space.

As said at Billing a massive thanks goes out to everyone who brought 'n' bought, and to Guy Brinton & John Lucas for there help in setting up etc.
This figure is way beyond anything I anticipated so thanks again guys for making it happen......

Garry - I'm surprised the E30 BMW lights didn't sell. Maybe eBay? Should be worth £25 to a Beemer-Kid!

All credit to you - a sterling effort by all concerned!

Garry,that's just brilliant mate.

Thank you for what you've done this weekend.

For anyone who's been touched by Parkinson's will know just what a terrible illness it is. The money raised today will hopefully help just a little in the battle to find a cure for the many people who have to suffer this condition.

Thank you to Garry and the TR Drivers club and all the people who donated and bought parts today.

Yes, well done to Garry, who pretty much gave up the whole weekend to man his stall. Over £600 is a great result. Very pleased with the parts I bought. Top Bloke. [8D]

Great total Gaz, well done. Do we need to sign anything for the Gift Aid or can they just do it?
