I bought a new Subaru (not this wedge-like one)in 2006 and sold it six months later. Drive-by-wire-throttle never worked properly. Too much electronics even for the dealer to sort out.

Drive by wire is soooo commonplace now with most of the manufacturers, but I can understand the frustrations of dealing with problems you had when the product was new for the model and the knowledge of repair was not yet up to speed.

I had a Subi wagon as a winter car many yeas back and loved it,so as a companion to the TR7 it would be fine, but I would never "trade" my wedge for one [;)]
