hi just found one of the works rally team support vehicles hinding in a museum!

What is it, it doesn't look like a Land Rover? supercass

It's either a FJ40 or FJ45 (can't see which) Toyota Land Crusier, must be about the last one left that hasn't yet succumbed to rust.
They were a solid, thirsty, tough, crude but dependable device.
Toyota built their reputation on the KE series Corolla and the FJ series Land Cruiser, they've gone steadily down hill ever since.
The rubbish they make now has bells n' whistles but isn't a patch on the simplicity and purity of those old bugger's good industrial design.

Definately not the last. Theres alot of them around these parts. Very cool vehicles.

<font size="2"><font face="Comic Sans MS">They were ubiquitous here in Oz every farm had at least 1, they were used by government departments, mining and utility companies.
I think they've either all rusted away or been worked to death by now, poor bloody things all had a hard life and little maintenance, they were victims of their own reliability, the poor things would always go so no one bothered looking after them</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="size2">.
