Front hub upgrade

Postby 195r13s » 14 Sep 2012 19:05

For a 76 FHC: Back at it after a year. Have a 231 Buick w T-bird rear end. Using ford focus, 4 lug 15 wheels (I hope). Any ideas/experience on upgrading front hubs? I need bigger brakes for sure. Probably Woody. Many thanks.

T S a little far to drive, but I'll give him a ring. I remember I got my bushings from him. Anyway I can I think I have to get some strength up front. Thanks.

Hi Tom,

You can get uprated hub's over this side of the muddy ditch BUT not cheap [:0]

hi John,
Those hubs are works of art...and, as such, costly. Way costly. However, I'm showing those and orig hubs to machinist-hot rodder, neighbor. Maybe he will work with me on this famous TR7 weakness.
Thanks for reminding me of ebay.uk as a source.

A fellow Speke devotee,
