I Love A Parade

Today was Ladysmith Days Parade. The Town gives us the Beach for our Brits on the Beach car show and supports us, this year they paid for the after meet barbecue for club members. bmcecosse's sister works(ed?) here I believe proving Disney's puppets song "It's a small word after all". We got 2nd place ribbon for Group entry (don't know who got first). We had 14 cars show up.

Ladysmith was also the town featured in the Eureka TV series pilot after which when it was accepted, a set was built like it in Maple Ridge (I believe.) My brother in law worked on the sets for the pilot for 6 weeks and stayed at our place while doing it. They just had the 5th and final Season. You guys in the States may have seen it on SciFi network (in Canada on the Space channel).
