7 gone...... for now.

Postby claypole1360 » 01 Sep 2010 17:28

Yep, finally sold my TR7 to a nice chap in Norfolk. Happily, he says he will have it up and running in 5 weeks,(that's all the time his wife will allow him to complete it in). So one more TR7 saved which is no bad thing. However, a hard and expensive lesson for me which left me 200 pounds out of pocket but with a sound knowledge of what not to buy next time, and there will be a next time, roll on next summer!!!! I can't wait already.

£200?! That's nothing! When I were a lad I spent 3 x the original purchase price in just 3 years of ownership. Then I crashed it, had to take money out of the household account to pay for repairs & were forced, forced! to tell t'wife I had an old car.

Nevertheless, sad that it didn't work out for you this time Calvin. The No.1 rule in the buyers guide is don't buy a rusty one. [:)]
