exhaust notes....................

Exhaust design is al about getting rid of the exhaust gasses as efficient as possible. It all depends on engine displacemnent and rpm. In other words the actual gas volume going through the exhaust.

From rather long experience I know that brass instruments (yes I'm also a trumpet player) work slightly different [8)]

Right okay...but what we're looking for here is the exhaust note. I;m thinking of doing a custom job on my backbox. Should save alot of cash. Or just drill holes in it [^]

Yea I'm sure he will. I just want to use my money wisely and I've got other cars that need attention too. Me n the old man found an old custom steering wheel in the shed, possibly off a 60's vittese. Going to service her soon! Then on the road she goes. But I do want a deeper exhaust note.

One of the tricks locally is to drive a long screwdriver through the rear silencer. Word has it it actually helps the emission readings although I have no idea how!
