Hi,

[quote]Having one of each, I appreciate the latches over the screw fasteners for the air scoop. That was a needed change<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">

That change was done at Speke I think, my FHC ( 76 car ) has clips.

My '76 has screws at the top corners. I was lucky to get the scoop with the car since the PO used the passenger side screw hole to mount the Allison Electronic ignition unit. That scoop has not had any use with that PO.

How about the the bonnet support? On the '76 car I have what looks like the remnants of an old style support attached to the inside fender well and the bonnet itself. When was that change made?

So many questions guys.

I wish someone else would come up with some answers [:p]

The early bonnet support was only ever seen on the early 1975 North American market ACL cars, and was dropped for the 1976 model year. There are a couple of UK Pre-production ACG coupes that also have the early support, but no UK production cars would of had it. The same applies also to the early screw on plenum (air scoop) which is unique to the 1975 cars.

John, glove box sticker changed in March 77 when the tarton seat and door trim was introduced, and the rear parcel shelf changed from three compartments to two with the introduction of the 1978 shell, August 77.
