just bought practical classics good mag but even though i get it most months i cant believe how expensive it is. or am i just a tight wad

All the mags are expensive considering how many adverts they stuff into them. I was on around 8 mags a month, 4 landrover and 4 classic. Now i just read them in the shop, only buy the one that's interesting or as i did once, pay about 30p to photocopy the section i wanted then put the mag back on the shelf. Now that is tight[:D]

I like the look of the FHC but for a car which will only get used occasionally i think i'd of preferred a DHC. I do agree with the FHC getting rare though, especially without a sunroof.

I adore both the fhc and dhc completely equally on their merits. It always seems to be <i>early days </i> as far as <i>any</i> TR7 is concerned. The <i>shape of things to come </i> - indeed. The tide is <i>still</i> turning, but turning for sure. Question is how far ahead of its time was it <i>really</i>....maybe a few more decades perhaps?

I do prefer the FHC to the DHC with the roof up, looks like an afterthought. But once a FHC has been given some suitable bigger alloys and lowered a little it looks a lot more modern.
A FHC with the full length sun roof (like mine) is the best of both worlds for me [:)]
