You blokes have to get the psychology going with those ladies.
When I bought my Honda S2000 it carried the private number plate MOG 98. The owner had taken his wife to England, picked up his new Morgan from the factory, & toured Europe in it before bringing it back to Oz. He loved it, she not so much for it's ride, but accepted it after that great holiday.
Being very nice, he sold the Morgan & bought the S2000 to more suit her, but kept his MOG numberplate for the memory. After the Morgan, she loved the Honda.
I have made a point of using the S2000, with it's tyres quite hard, when my lady has required transporting somewhere. Without saying a word she has communicated her dislike of the thing.
Thus when I took her on a Triumph club run, with the 7s tyres down on 28 PSI, she decided it was more comfortable than she expected. She restricted her complaining to the lead driver in his TR6. Although driving very reasonably he was a "maniac" a few times, when he probably reached about 5 tenths.
This is a lady who can take the helm of a yacht sliding down huge ocean seas, in a howling gale, while I get some sail off it, yet is frightened in a quite gently driven car. It makes no sense, but we have to work around it.
