Too bad the site does not evolved!
But revange forum is always on top.
This is for me the most comprehensive and most reactive.

I think that may be a google translate error, my friend Syol is French, I'll have a think about it. Clayps.

???????????????????????????

Had a think, can't say I can work it out, "revanche" means contrasting so that might have something to do with it.

By the way, Syol runs the French TR7 website, worth a look just to see what cars they are running out there, great pictures pof owners and their cars.

Yes, I've been to Syol's site before, actually quite a few TR7's from Quebec are on there! I'm fluent in french and tried to translate what he said and can't exactly figure it out.

Hopefully he will be back soon and give us a few hints ..... as far as I'm concerned, he could even write it in his language if he wants!

http://www.webacappella.com/

cela rend la tache plus facile..... mais c'est toujours du temps à passer.

A bientôt..

ps claypole1360 est ce que tu viendrais au mans classic ? et merci

I've always respected the French. But, then they open their mouths and I have no earthly idea what they're saying.

I am not fluent in French but being Canadian I have taken four years of French in High school (and also by choice incidentally and irrelevantly, equivalent of four years of high school and first year university in Russian in university). Languages are not my forte.

What Syol is saying is what others have brought up from time to time about modernizing the website with one of the modern web design programs.

As mentioned before by me and others, the forum is the crown jewel of this website, works well enough, and although dated is in keeping perhaps with our cars which are also of the past. A lot of our users are older than younger, some not as web savy as others (it seems like yesterday I first got on the web in 1995 after dabbling previously in private bulletin board sites that precursored the internet) and are comfortable with what they are used to.

It works so don't fix it. While not a shiny bauble of the latest, it's comfortable by it's familiarity.

From a translation app.

Yes, I think that there is an error. I wanted to say that the forum is constantly evolving. And that the site only merits just a little bit of attention.

I know what it is like to manage a site. He must spend time. For my part I used webacapella. http://www.webacappella.com/ this makes the job easier ..... but it is always the time to go so soon..

ps claypole1360 is this that the goernment at le mans classic?
And thank you.

Cheers Clayps.

let me know when your coming for a visit and we can go have some "poutine" ....and make sure to bring Mildred !!

[:D]

I agree with syol, the home page is outdated and the forum could use an update, but at the end of the day everything works and the site still attracts new users and keeps the regular players occupied with constant posting.
We are blessed with both honest and informative tech articles, fantastic event coverage, and some excellent information on the cars and histories plus some great wedgie chit-chat.
There are many TR7 sited and forums out there and this one is probably the most active on both sides of the pond.
