Here is sort of what I was triing to describe. Maybe not the Grinnal type front end but using a slimmer bumper similar to what you shopped up. Anyway had a few minutes to spare.

On the whole it's a fairly good effort, I'd like to see it painted. (maybe some talented member could have a go at photoshopping it}

Maybe the lights would look better mounted in the spoiler under the bumper, recessed into those scalloped sections.
The top of the bumper section could then be at the same angle all across the width of the bumper as it is in the centre section, giving the exercise a more wedge profile. The grill opening might be a bit less pronounced with its corners more radiused</font id="Comic Sans MS"></font id="size2">

I think it might work quite well, with the more powerful V8 engined cars.

We spent a lot of time thinking about reasonably attractive ways of getting more air flow into the radiator of the 8.

Rob yours may not be perfect, & it's hard not to be attracted to what you are used to, but it leaves for dead the gaping front on the Audis, or the slack mouth look of the Mazda 3s. Both of these must have been an attempt to have a "corporate look" front, that allowed enough air flow for their hotter models.

Like Cobber, I'd like to see it painted, to get a true impression.

Well done, & worth putting as much time in as necessary, to get it just right.

I like it;the only thing I would change is perhaps making the front shorter from the ground,as I have the standard air dam on the car and have already cracked it pulling into parking lots and cornering at high speeeds,so I know I'd totally maul something that low![B)]

If I end up doing this, it will have your rear bumper Tim. I had always thought it would fit well with what I was thinking.

Due to family I have not touched this in a few weeks. I might have a morning or two in November, but time always gets short around the holidays.

I will post when/if I get to something usable.
