WOW asking price

Postby ACW30445 » 12 Dec 2007 15:27

There was a coupe similar to this that changed hands last year for ~ $12,000 US....maybe this is same car? Same or similar color I remember and I believe it was a 79.

All in all....I feel pretty good about what I paid for my car now!

One of my friends would call that BIN asking price 'whacked'!

If you want wedges to be more popular....careful what you wish for! There is a down side. Now you will probably see every classic car 'reseller' name dropping Codename: Bullet if they have a wedge to sell.

LOL if you look at the foto`s on ebay of the outside and interrior, you just look like [:0]

But the last pictures from the underside of the car makes me look like: [xx(]

A real shame of the underside, but you get a nice rusty exhaust for 29,500! [:D]

I think they accidently put one "0" to much on the prizetag.
Complete bonkers to ask that much money for FHC, especially if you look at the paint job under the bonnet in one of the "under-car"shots.

But they were thorough, they even painted the plastic toolbag [:D]

Call themselves "Automobile Dreams" I'd say the "dreaming" is on thier part. More like a drug induced halucination.

A nice example of a TR7? Yes definitely. Best in US? Don't think so. I've seen better at local car shows (ulbeit TR8's). Didn't have original or complete coverings in trunk. Missing protective cover over A/C relays (just took mine off to start cleaning that corner of engine bay.) I'll match the bottom side of my car to it any day and I haven't even touched it yet. I guess it's worth a shot to see if they can get that much, you never know when some idiot with more money than brains will come up with the dough. We got to start telling the world what lousy cars these are... always breaking down... can't get parts... can't handle worth a darn... ugly as sin... impossible to work on...you get the picture?

The thing that put me off was the voiceover. Can't stand web pages with soundclips embedded.[:(!]

Was in an auction in October, went for its true value, £6,900. The present owner bought it and put it straight up for sale at double the purchase price.
