On 15/01/75 my '71 Javelin (bought new off the showroom floor with a AMC sales incentive free TV in '71) was plugged in (block heater) because it was -80 wind chill, rare high winds and -40 (C and F are the same) in Calgary Alberta. Still remember driving down the road, thunk thunk, thunk, because the tires are frozen flat on the bottom and stay that way for a couple blocks.
