Phil if you go MG wheels, definitely go 15"s. There are very few good tyres now available in 14" ion Oz. At least with the MG wheels you should overcome the dreaded wheel wobble, as they are stud centric. Now that is a real bonus, but they are much more expensive here than in the UK.
Remember to get the nuts too. They are quite different to standard nuts, & are expensive if you have to buy them new. It cost me $55 plus freight for one 15" MG wheel for spare on the 8, about 7 years ago, & $25 for the nuts when I realised I needed them.
As for parts availability, don't forget you are in Oz now. We have dozens of brake specialists who will bore & sleeve cylinders, & rebuild calipers with generic parts no problem. Ozzies don't buy master cylinders or wheel/slave cylinders, we don't have the rust problem that make our northern folk do that. We restore/rebuild them, & keep on using them.
When I rebuilt my 7s brakes, I went to my local friendly brake bloke who supplied me everything I needed for the complete job, including hoses, out of his generic parts bins, for A$45,00. This compares well to the Triumph specialist who wanted $40,00 a corner, & $48,00 for the master for kits ex the UK, & hoses were extra.
I can't knock the quality either, that was 14 years ago, about time I did them again I suppose.
