Well I managed a few more trips out in the TR7 this year than last year. Still not enough but my goal was to double last years miles. Mission accomplished. [:D] Now to double it again next year...

2013: 1334 miles, 38 days out
2012: 527 miles, 22 days out

How did everyone do?

Mine has done more last year then ever in its life, on average! Won't be many wedges that can say that!

Shadow took a back seat 2013 as I was enjoying driving the early white FHC (now sold)
Although when I took the blue one for its MOT in September it had developed major engine problems.
I think altogether I drove it about 40 miles, this year it will be different.

I'm way out of your league. I'm embarrassed to say how may miles I put on my two cars. Of course one of them is still a work in progress. Good job.

while I don't have exact figures (as the car is away, I'll only really be able to calculate the milage when I drop the oil in the spring)

I'd figure I probably did about what I've averaged the past 5 years which is around 1000km per year.(approx 5 tanks of gas, mostly city driving)
The car has really dropped out of the daily driver pool now that I work 2km from home, and the kids schedules keep me busy with non-car activities. I am probably spending more time with the bike than I do with the car.

Not sure how many miles I done in both of mine, but like to get out in them at least once a week and try and get to most local and national shows.

Would have loved to use my two wedges more last year,
but lots of small problems with the DHC meant this car wasn't ready till september ...

DHC 4050 km (actually not bad considering it was only used 9 times this year [:I])
FHC 5208 km (should have been aprox. 1000 km more but didn't have the time to prepare the car for two rally's [B)])

I don't keep track of that sort of thing as I use it as daily transport when the snow is gone and until it returns. LOTS [8D]

I don't drive much, being retired, living on an island (albeit a big one) and having other cars to drive. I some times almost make up an excuse to drive the car into town in the summer. Don't drive it in winter (too wet) although it goes through rain showers that inevitably catch you in the spring. I did take that 3,000+ mile trip to San Diego in 2011 and go to Portland every year (600 miles) round trip. That being said I drive it almost exclusively in summer and put on an average of about 2,500 miles per year over the last 7 years.

I'm averaging about 6000Km a year in the 7, & the same in the Honda S2000.

2012 was the worst year for the 7, with it off the road for 9 months, 3 for air conditioning fitting, 3 for the paint job, & 3 for the new engine. Even this year, when there were rain showers most days from January to July it spent too much time in the shed.

Like Spyder, I'll often do a 60Km round trip for a cup of coffee, because I want a run in the 7, not the coffee. My big advantage over most folk is that in just 2Km from home, I am on nice country roads, without too much traffic.

My TR8's odometer shows 2519 more miles than it did at the end of 2012. Most of that was in the two weeks I spent in Oregon last year, but my brother-in-law borrowed it for a couple of rallies when his MG was in the shop. I'm hoping to do a lot more this year; still thinking seriously about driving to North Carolina in September for the VTR 40 years of Wedges event.

Ken, you realize that's over 2,700 miles one way? Over 3,000 miles one way if you want to include such iconic places along the way such as Mount Rushmore and Devils Tower and hitting Bonneville Salt Flats on the way back. Heck, that's long enough to start a reality TV series, you could call it Route 66 (The Other Way). Or you could make it really worth while and do a circle of America and hit all the high points.[:p] I would be tempted to go with you but I couldn't leave the cats that long.

Oh yeah, considerably more than 3000 miles with any side trips. I've got a little more confidence in my car after last summer, but I've still got a lot of work to do on it before trying to get that far from home. If I go, and if Dolly goes with me, we'll have to hire a cat sitter.
