Postby john 215 » 12 Nov 2013 05:14

Hi,

BL rally jacket on Ebay looks like going to fetch a good price. ' Back In The Day ' we were given these at work for nothing [:0], I use to roll around under cars doing private jobs in them! Should have kept a couple [:o)]

It will John, my bid of £100 has been easily surpassed. I was given Roger Clarks Sparkrite jacket, thought it would make a nice pair.

Is this a real one though? I presume it is but has to be a later variety than the ones worn by the 'works' team up to 1980 and also sold at that time. Through the TR7 programme the jackets had the red white and blue in a 'V' on the front. I suggest this is a cheaper jacket produced for the later Metro rally campaign. But what do I know???
