What other cars in the BL range used this gearbox?

Do you need one John.....
I think the stag used the Borg Warner type 35 also

Not just yet[;)]. Just wondering whether it was the same box as used in the auto Dolomite Sprints.

I think there were actually two different types auto gearboxes used in the Tr7

It is the same as the Dolomite 1850 or sprint...Borg Warner Type 65.

It uses Borg Warner type 65 and type 66 for later ones. Later Stag's after 74, Rover 3500 later models. '74 on (SD1), also Jaguar, 74-77 BMW. I would expect to find different bellhousings, in put shafts and the like.
