He lives in the Cascade mountain range, all the rain we get on the West Coast during the winter falls as snow as you gain elevation. It's what makes Whistler such a good ski area and our own Mount Washington have more snow than any other ski resort in the world last year and so it goes on down the line.

Chains? I don't need no stinking chains.
That photo was shot at Mt Bachelor, Oregon. It's about a 30 min drive from my house. They have recorded 473 inches fallen this year.
And down around the back side is Elk Lake Resort, another 10 minutes or so. I'm anxiously awaiting the plow to clear the road so I can start my evening pint runs which I enjoy at lake side.
