Road Legal

Postby RUDDY » 01 Mar 2012 11:46

Taxed the TR this morning so as it was a nice mild day I took it for a wee run.

Still crying out for a proper tune up, need to get down to S&S.

All the best, Paul

yep. mine now taxed too, trial runs friday evening after work and saturday and try and get it running a bit leaner and see if it looks fit enough to make the trip to stoneleigh as its only done about 100 miles in the last three years but hell if its going to have a maiden run may as well make it a worthwhile one.............

by the way if i turn up in a red corsa b its because the tr didnt like being used after its long break from driving...lol

It's a TR it will be fine Dave. [:p]

Nice to see all the wedges coming out of hibernation. I kept the yellow coupe road legal all year but I won't drive her in bad weather.

Doesn't look that good for Sunday [:(!] I might have to go in Tony's
lovely Solihull TR7 instead. [:D]

I love how this car looks. Perfect colour for the style and some nice subtle touches. Well done - I'm jealous!

finished work, picked up tr and drove back over to mine, started lovely, running bit rich and idling bit fast but got me the 28 miles with out a hitch, just bloody noisy due to the cars interior being stripped out so no carpet, sound proofing or anything, also found the dash lights not working either,........... got here, called to a friends to show car to them, went in for a coffee and when i came out, it wouldn't start!!!!!

i had turned the idle down a little and screwed the jets up a little too so could be just leaned it off too much, will find out tomorrow in the light..... wish me luck....
