antiseize compound

antiseize compound

Everyone grouses about how hard it is to get these studs out of the head. Can antiseize compound be used? Or will they not hold torque if they are gouped?

There isn't that much torque on them ,is there?

I always use copper slip on anything like that, one day you will be glad of doing it [:D]

all bolts that need to be lubricated to prevent corrosion and to be able to torque them properly. Especially suspension bolts that are exposed to the elements.

I use anti seize on everything.

I'm a firm believer in anti-seize "goop" in all forms. I only have to fight a fastener one time, especially on fasteners subject to heat & moisture. mandatory for dissimilar metals (aluminum) & suspension bits![8D]
