Friday last we had a car show )Old English Car Club, Porsche Club, Old Tractor Club and a few others) to support the Cruise ship industry in Nanaimo. Last year apparently (I wasn't there) we were parked by the shuttle buses and as the people waited for the buses to take them to what ever they signed up for they would look at the cars. this year they had us outside the parking lot on the other side of the barriers and nobody knew we were there. As some of the buses came back they would mention the car show to the left. Some people would walk all the way around to see it (around 1pm). We don't mind taking a day in our lives to support the cruise ships but if no one knows we are there because of where they stuck us, well we have houses to paint, gardens to tend, cars to fix. If they don't put us back in the parking lot there will be no more car shows (they were afraid some one would get run over by a bus) they're all adults, not a bunch of kids running around. We'll see what happens.
