Classics At The Crick, Now with Bikes ( Pic Heavy ! ) 7th June 2015

Postby john 215 » 07 Jun 2015 18:53

Hi,

Took a drive to this relatively local show to me at Napshill, near High Wycombe, a small village show but still I would say a couple of hundred cars there, probably helped by the lovely weather :) and all in aid of charity.

Once again mine not the only TR7 there :D

A nice Triton TR7 V8

A genuine TR8, a honest car that is for sale, was going to ask the gent if he would swap for a 4.6  got a few modifications but nothing that cant be undone by the purist, I could find space for her.

Not sure about the red wheels on the black Ford, nor the Alloy's on the pale-blue Saab!
Thanks for sharing!

Seeing American iron must be as unusual as us seeing British cars here. American cars shows what happens when you have high production runs with relatively cheap prices (as a consequence), large natural resources, cheap gas, large distances to be covered.

When I was in the Air Force my roomate bought one of those Mercury Cougars brand new. His was exactly like this one. It dwarfed my TR6 in the parking lot. His fiance stole it when they broke up leaving him with a Suzuki GS 750 for his only transportation.
