Kastner Cup 2013 Road America

I've just had confirmation that Peter Bulkowski in his stunning TR8 GTO race car won the Kastner Cup yesterday. After problems with the rear axle resulted in him started on the back row of the grid he came through the field to win the most prestigious race on the Triumph calendar anywhere in the world.

I can't wait to get more information, see some pictures or even some video. Just wish I could have been there again. Got to make it next year.

I'd love to see a TR8 on the track. Most vintage racing organizations seem to consider the 8 too new. John Dutra in Portland has a Huffaker TR8 he doesn't race. It belonged to the late ex-husband of the woman I bought my TR8 from.

Make sure to note that the TR8 of Peter Bulkowski won the Kastner Cup race with a 7 lap run of 19:17:110 and a best lap of2:39:969. That was after a long repair session into the night to repair a broken differential. Amazing car, amazing crew, amazing performance
