Hi,

Took a drive down to The Ace yesterday for there Triumph day, didn't get down there till gone 1 o'clock due to work and an accident at M25 junction on M1, not that many car's still left, but a nice afternoon to have a bite to eat and look, chat about Triumph's.

As you can see a few GT6's but not a bad thing as IMHO a great looking car

Back in the day here they were called the poor man's Jag but I thought they came up short and didn't think they came close to the smooth styling of the E type coupe. Now I appreciate them for what they were (are). Last year we had a guy from Calgary drive his over the Rockies just to attend our Brits on the Beach car show and then head back the next day (2,153 Km).

A couple of years ago at Portland ABFM they had a restoration company assemble one from pieces in 4 days. It was interesting to see it from time to time top watch the progress.
