Hi Ron,

That my friend is a Matra Bagheera, they were made in France between the early 70's to 1980, they had a Simica 4 cylinder engine which were part of Chrysler. This one is a very rare RHD version, they were brought into the UK and each one converted individualy to RHD. The lady who owns it was parked behind me and I had a good chat with her and sat in it ect. Her car was a classic magazine's project car so thats why it looks so clean. She is off to Rienes in France next weekend to run it round the old GP circuit so it gets used.

Now it is said that this car was made for a French man so he could drive his car and take along both his wife and his mistress [:D] [:p] sounds good enough reason to me !!

Cheers John

Great pics John, looks like a good show.

The TR8 features in the list on the Canley Classics website so a genuine factory TR8 for sure - it also says "original shell replaced after damage". Wonder what happened to it during it's time at Canley Engineering - must have been quite a knock to require a reshell.

And I just love that Alfa - stylish or what!

Hi Tony,

Gent who own's the TR8 also has a ex press DHC, shame this was not at Woburn on Monday because as you poss know Woburn Abbey was a location for the press launch for the DHC. Would have been great to get a couple of picture of the car in front of the house [8D]

Loved the Alfa Montreal too, rare too as a genuine RHD. My personal favourite apart from the TR8 [8D] was the Fiat sevice van, was full of period parts and tools.

Michelle, thanks for your kind words but if my 'snaps' are a mile away from your work's of art.

Cheers John
