Any Shows or Events in the Great Lakes Area?

I'm in the Great Lakes area of the United States and I'm looking at the events on this forum. I don't recognize the names of many of the cities so I assume most of the really good stuff is over the pond.
Do any of you know of any events here in the US within a day drive of the Great Lakes area?
