Well that does look nice!

I read about one of these 2+2 conversions once. If I remember correctly Mark Grinnall used the fuel tank space to create the rear seats & fabricated a (stainless?) fuel tank in the boot space. Is yours like that Howard?

Are the rear seats actually usable by an adult?

I'd love to see more information on this conversion. Is this something only available across the Pond??

That sure looks good.

I was all set to go down this route with said converter but after my body restoration experience in the late 80's it never happened. A baby seat would have fitted in the middle, I even had someone prepared to trim it in original blue check!

No-one else was doing it at the time, so couldn't go ahead with it.

My son's now 16 and 6'0" tall so he'd never fit in the back now anyway.

Well I must say that that looks like a 'factory' finish. I was going to use the term classy - but TR7s and tartan ain't classy are they?!

Did you DYI the conversion, or buy it this way??


Where did you source the seats and belts ??


How practical do you find the car now???

<font color="green">Not unless they are small?-its a 2+2 which implies 2 adults and 2 children for which it works just fine</font id="green">.
