fuel sender unit

hi guys new tank / fuel sender unit / rubber seal now how does it go to-gether? rubber seal in first sender unit so how does it all get fixed to tank, any clues would be appreciated. thanks.

You need the locking ring to hold the seal and sender unit in.

thanks alan, there was no sign of anything on old tank just rust and fuel leaks. wullie.

It is part no ARA 1501 ('Retainer') in the Rimmers catalogue. It is tapped round to lock under the tank lugs.

locking ring arrived from td fitchets fast as must say was impressed with them as suppliers,
