To be honest you fix so many things with stuff you find laying around.... some of you gents that hung around the original forum along time ago can possibly remember my very good mate Paul W, we were off to a show one Sunday when Paul's car, I think it was his Grinnal FHC V8, lost power. Pulling over and looking under the bonnet found the link rod to one of the carbs had broken its ball joint, allowing it to flap around in the breeze. Looking around on the ground we found various items and with aid of one of Pauls hair bands ( true rocker our Paul ) we ' re-engineered ' the link. Remember its only a bodge if it dont work !! It not only lasted all day but several weeks
